Lyro
AI agent inside the Tidio customer service tool that answers chat requests from your help content and hands over to your team when needed.
What it does
Lyro is the AI agent in the Tidio customer service tool. It answers your customers’ questions in chat based on your own content, such as FAQs and support articles, and hands over to your team when it cannot help. Add-on modules let it trigger actions, for example checking order status, qualifying leads or routing tickets, including via MCP. Online shops get product recommendations; you set the tone and escalation rules yourself. Through Lyro Connect the agent also works in Zendesk, Intercom or Salesforce. Reports show resolution rate and satisfaction.
Who it suits
Online shops and small to mid-sized companies that receive many recurring questions in their website chat and want to relieve their support team.
Data protection for businesses
According to Tidio, data is mainly processed on servers in the EEA, with some data transferred to the US. For the AI features, content is sent to OpenAI and Google Cloud (data centres in the EU) and to Anthropic (US), which are contractually barred from training their own models on it. Tidio does not use inputs and outputs for models exposed to other customers, but does use anonymised, aggregated data for improvement; you can opt out via support. A data processing agreement is incorporated into the terms. Tidio has a SOC 2 Type II report; the Plus and Premium plans target higher requirements.
Limits
Only the first 50 Lyro conversations in total are free; after that you pay per conversation quota. Lyro Connect requires Plus or Premium. Answers are only as good as your knowledge base, and incorrect responses remain possible.
